At CG, design is discipline.
American, modern, and precise—made to endure.
We aim to set the tone, not chase it.
Join us if you value craft and clarity.
  • You take ideas and make them tangible. You think in tolerances, millimeters, and stone seats. Clean geometry and precise flow excite you. You understand the bench because you’ve built for it.

We are seeking a detail-obsessed CAD designer to translate sketches and concepts into cast-ready models. You’ll shape both seasonal collections and private commissions that demand the highest level of refinement.

    What we’re looking for

    • Proficiency in Rhino, MatrixGold, or equivalent

    • Ability to deliver clean, production-ready files

    • Sensitivity to aesthetic nuance and brand consistency

    • Proven fine jewelry CAD experience

    • Obsession with detail—because that’s where excellence lives

    Bonus

    • GIA training or combined background in both CAD and bench fabrication

  • You’re not here for fast fashion or production-line settings. You’ve studied weight, balance, and structure like a language—and you speak it fluently.

We’re seeking a highly skilled bench jeweler to bring our CADs and custom designs to life with precision and artistry. If your polishing is as sharp as your soldering, and you take pride in every microscopic decision, this may be your studio.

    What we’re looking for

    • Mastery of 14k / 18k / 24k gold and other precious metals

    • Expertise in stone setting, soldering, polishing, and final assembly

    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on bench experience or exceptional GIA graduate

    • Based in Los Angeles or San Diego (remote considered for the right fit)

    • Portfolio or recent professional work required

  • You understand the gravity of a perfect curve, the power of restraint, the elegance of minimal tension. Your sketchbooks tell stories—and you’re ready to write a new one. You’ve studied the greats and are poised to become one.

You’ll work alongside our founder to design seasonal collections and one-of-a-kind pieces that define our aesthetic. This is an opportunity to bring structure, subtlety, and sophistication to the forefront of American jewelry.

    What we’re looking for

    • Strong design portfolio (CAD or sketch-based)

    • Deep knowledge of gold work and proportion

    • Obsession with silhouette, symmetry, and surface

  • Email: careers@standardassay.com

    Include:

    • A short note about who you are and why this matters

    • Your portfolio, sample work & social links

    • Your résumé, CV, or background info
